As the number in the index reference is a page number, usually when there is an a after the reference it means an extra page was inserted into the quarterly index after it had been made up - ie the registrar for that district submitted this entry (or entries) late and so the page had to be inserted. |

It could mean that they are a twin. I had a similar case a few weeks ago - didn't know what it meant and then found out that he was a twin. |
