Times on birth certificates

Can anyone tell me if times are usually put on Scottish birth certificates? I know it would signify a twin birth on English certs but wasn't sure about scottish ones. There has never been a hint that my grandad was a twin but when I got his certificate from my uncles today it has date,place, and time ( 2 am) on it, do I now have to start looking for stillbirths - and if so how? |

My birth certificate (Scottish) shows time as do those of my two sisters. We were born between 1936 and 1942. |

Not all English ones with times signify a multiple birth. In the early days some registrars put the times on births and deaths and one rather luckily told me my rellie was 18 years, 4 months and 5 days old. lol |
