which register office would i choose?

I had the same problem
Visited my local Register Office only to be meet by Hums & Ah’s .....
Went home ordered on line 19.11.07.
G.R.O.site
Got dispatch date 26.11.07.
It arrived 24.11.07.
That’s what I call SERVICE. ……

I'm with Reg. If you have the GRO reference then it's just as easy to order online from:-

www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates

Cost £7 with the reference numbers.

I have no address to go on, only the registration on Ancestry, which just states Cardiff.

I'll phone all three tomorrow

Hi Jan, have you phone numbers for the offices?
If you have give them a call and ask if they deal with birth certs in X village.

I want to order a birth certificate from 1932 and the Registration District is Cardiff.

The web page states there are three Register Offices, so which one should I opt for?

I've no more information and if all else fails, I'll go to the General Record Office.
