I tried looking on Sunderland and Newcastle UTD official websites but couldn't find them.

Back again! That's brilliant! I got Fred now. I noticed I got mixed up with their teams. Fred played for Sunderland so Albert must have played for Newcastle.

Does anyone happen to have an Encyclopedia of British football players in their possession? If so I would be very grateful if they could look up two names for me. I have two relatives in my tree who were football players around the 1920s/30s/40s. I know very little about them so would be grateful for any information found.

Frederick Hall played for Newcastle United. He was born between 1880 - 1912 Newburn Northumberland.

Albert Hall played for Sunderland. He was born 1889 Newburn Northumberland.
