Looking again, it could be Wizard or Wingard.

Hi Sam
I thought it said Rebecca too and it would fit as Susannah had a step daughter Rebecca but I wasn't sure as to the surname. Thanks again. I'll look on the census 1851 for her now you have given me the clues.
Thanks

Crikey, I see what you mean!

I think the surname is definately Wizard. The first name could be Reuben, Robson,.Rebecca? The last letter looks like an N to me, comparing it with the other writing on the cert.

Looking at the 1851 census, there is a Rebecca Wizard living in Surry, I can't tell exactly where though as my subscription has run out!

I'll study it a bit longer and let you know of I come up with anything better!

I received a death cert for a relative from 1855 and can't decipher the name of the person present at her death. I have scanned it and could send it via email if anyone would be interested in trying to decipher for me please.
My eye sight is failing even with a mag glass and I don't want to believe the name I think it may be just because I want it to be a certain person. Hope that makes sense lol.
Thanks
Di
