Hello all,

Not sure if everyone has seen this but the Kildare records from the Irish Family History Foundation are now online.

I have adapted the following from their email: -

As part of the continuing Irish Family History Foundation's Online Research Service (ORS) we are pleased to announce the availability of the records of Kildare Genealogy covering the county of Kildare. This adds almost another 1/4 million baptismal, birth, death and marriage records that can be searched and purchased online.

Just go to the following site and login using your existing IFHF login details. http://kildare.brsgenealogy.com

Best of luck to all

My pleasure Gail.

It's a pity the records are 10 euros a go though - we'll all be in the poorhouse!!

best wishes

Maria

Miriam, just checked out the site (with great anticipation) but was soon dissappointed. I couldn't find any of my relatives. I have my Mother's Birth Certificate, so I know exactly where she was born but they have no record of her.

It's obviously early days yet!

Thanks for the tip though.

As I have a load of Kildare ancestors, I got very excited and spent 10 euros on duff information! lol I shall be more cautious next time. Thanks Miriam. BC
