You can always email the records office local to the event and get them to take a photocopy and mail it to you. As you already have all the details for the look up it may only cost you a couple of quid. However, be aware that a lot of entries contain very little information.

Hi Kairen, unfortunately you will not get a birth certificate from 1804, registration was not introduced until 1837, so the best you can get will be the christening/baptism that you say you already have.
If you want a copy of the baptism entry, you will need to view the parish records and take a photocopy or get some-one to do it for you.

Hello can anyone advise me?
I would like a copy of a birth certificate for somebody born in 1804 how do I go about this? I have christening date, and place, where do I go next, can anybody help?
