I am new to this and need some advise. I have found a family on the 1881 census which I think maybe my missing link. But how can I be certain they are the people I am looking for and not just a coincidence. ELIZA WILLETT ABT 1844 SPOUSE WILLIAM WILLETT living with a James Baker and a Tabitha Baker (down as lodgers).

Basically I have been trying to trace my great great grandmother for the last 2 years but only have the basic of information. My great grandfather WILLIAM WILLETT BORN ABT 1842, BRIXTON SURREY. married (can only assume he married as again cannot find any record of this) ELIZA WILLETT (nee WATSON) born abt 1844 Brixton Surrey. Her death is written in some family papers as 21 April 1888. I know of a son my great grandad WILLIAM WILLETT BORN ABT 1864-1867 although cannot locate a birth to confirm that this was correct.

I seem to hit brick walls and dont know where else to go to get any further. HELP PLEASE BEFORE I GO DOLALLY x

Georgie

Georgina,

It is to avoid people duplicating the work and sometimes expense.
