Viewing my tree - by default!

I have recently given permission to view my tree to several members unintentionally - not that I have anything to hide!

This is due to the small 'box' in the message page which always has a green tick allowing access to my tree.

I know I should have deleted this tick, but failed to see it until now.
In my opinion, GR should alter this - by asking if you want your tree to be viewed, and if so, place a tick in the box - this way, it's your decision.

Hi
I agree wholeheartedly, it should not be "able to view" by default.

I have drawn GR attention to this but the onus us still on us to delete the tick. I suppose we should be more aware.

I sometimes forget but then I go to my contacts list and stop the access that way. Can be done right away.

GR appear to prefer it this way, as it seems they want to encourage sharing of trees.

It was changed a year or so ago.
