Running Windows 98 and am trying to remove unwanted clutter from my hard disc. In the "Add/Remove programmes" from the control panel, I have the following items :--

New.net Domains 8.0 build 832

MS XML Parser and SDK

These two items are there but I have no idea what they do and am reluctant to uninstal in case they might be important.
Can someone please help

Hi Keith

Someone has posted a similar query here:

Hopefully that sheds some light.

New.net is spyware as far as I am aware, try using Spybot to get rid of it.

Hi Keith,

I have freed up my pc by buying an external drive - just transfer files to the new drive. Gives you load more drive space, and if your pc crashes, your files, photo's progs, etc are safe in the new drive. Can be picked up at quite reasonable prices - go for a larger capacity than you require - you will be glad you did.
WHY NOT drop a few suggestions - maybe Santa will oblige!
