I am wondering where I could find a reliable source (online) to find passenger lists for people travelling to Singapore as I am sure my great grandad went there sometime from 1871-1911. And if he was living in Ipswich which would be the nearest/most likely port?

Most of the sites want X amount of money to upgrade and I am not keen on doing this just on the off chance.... I could be wrong and he didn't leave the UK.

Any tips/advice greatly appreciated.
