what do you think?

the year would fit better as i have Ena in 1907
i'm looking at the picture i have and trying to guess the ages between them

Actually ... that Minnie clashes with your Ena (whose birth I don't see in 1907, though). So I think I'll stick to my original theory: Ella Rose, born 1913.

There are so many possibilities, aren't there?

Taylor births in that time period in Bristol ... a Phyllis could have been called Cilla (depending on how her baby brother/sister pronounced her name!), and there were several of them ...

There are 3 Minnies, but one has the wrong mother, one was Minnie Jane, and that left just plain Minnie there.

Those are the only post-1911 Taylor-Edwards births in Bristol besides your Francis and Harry. The likelihood is that at least one of your girls was born after mid-1911 -- but together, the two of them would be spaced just about right to both be yours.

Hi again

sorry sorry sorry i've been watching Billy Elliot on tv ( love that film).

right then i have William Taylor married Clara Christina Edwards 18-08-1906 have the cert
A poss for eldest daughter Ena 1907 then missing Rose also Cilla i then have Francis 1915 and the youngest Harry 1917 who was my grandad.
so all born after marriage,
I think it's most likely the names are wrong lol
my mum can only rembember them as auntie Rose and auntie Cilla.
off for another look

Have you considered that Cilla might be Priscilla or Drusilla?

None of them born in Gloucestershire in the relevant time period, of course, but a couple not far away that you might want to look at.

If you're looking at 1911 and after -- you know the mother's birth surname?

A Celia Taylor, mother Alway, was born 1917 in Thornbury ...

Of course, there are Rose Taylors, but I guess they're everybody's but yours!

Another thought, are you sure they are siblings of the others?....... I see the years of their birth covers the war years........ they could have been "taken in" by the family maybe nieces/nephews or neighbours children that had been orphaned.....A long shot I know, but always worth considering.

Hi there

I have a family of 7 and have parents names dob etc also 2 of the children and a possible for a 3rd child but the other 2 children i can not seem to find anywhere, i have checked births marriage and deaths but nothing.
I have a photo of the whole family and know the childrens names so why can't i find them?

Cilla and Rose Taylor born between 1907 and 1915 in
Gloucestershire
