Lynne and Reggie - sorry thought that was the end of it and so signed off!

They are not on the 1891 census on Ancestry. I went to Liverpool at the weekend and looked through the electoral register to see when they moved. They were still at the same address in 1891 so I looked through the census returns they had and found them. They are actually on 1891 census on Findmypast but not Ancestry. His daughters were living with him at that time and he is a widower.

I'm signing off now but I'll have a look at this again in the morning.

Thanks
Maisy

The 1901 census shows Catherine Larkin to be Patrick Dowd's daughter........but she is married....so her name at birth would have been Dowd

Sorry but who is Patrick Dowd? I know that he only had 3 daughters. I don't have Ancestry anymore so I can't take a look.

I don't think it can be them but thanks for looking.

I know he was alive in 1896 because I found him on the electoral register still living at the same address. After that date the house was no longer there. I've had a look on the free BMD and it could possibly be his death. Would it be possible to have a look for his daughters on 1901 census please?

Can anyone find Patrick Larkin b. 1846/7 in Ireland on the 1901 census please. He is a widower and has 3 daughters, Mary Ann b.1878, Catherine b.1880 and Elizabeth b.1883 all girls born in Liverpool. On 1891 census living 21 Blackstone Street, Liverpool but not there in 1899.

Many thanks
