Hi,

I have managed to track down part of my fmily tree back to Poland and was wondering where to go from here, I don't quite know where to look to go back further in the Przedecki time line.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Gwyn,

Thanks for your help!

It appears that my Polish ancestors came over in about 1868/9. So I'm really searching for any time before then. I have discovered that the name Przedecki comes from the town of Przedecz so this must be where the family originated from.

hi claire...don`t be fooled by the surname..a large part of western Ukraine was polish before ww1 so,judging by your dates, they could possibly have originated from this area...you could always go to ukraine.com then go to forum, and put a request regarding your surname request....if nothing else,it may possibly eliminate this line of enquiry...regards...allan
