How to depict when the same person appears twice i

My mother's parents were cousins - ie. their fathers were brothers! I understand that there is no way to make the tree join up to show this.

But is there at least some way to enter a number like [3] so that when you see a [3] you know that a person appears twice? I have already seen this happen when a person has 2 marriages.

So it seems like there ought to be a way of doing it, but how?

There should be a way of doing it but Gene's don't seem to recognize just how common it is for cousins to marry.
Family tree software installed on your computer would get around this problem. You can pick a disc up for less than £10 (mine was £5.99 with 30 days Ancestry) or download a version from the internet
