Hi...does anyone know of a good site where one can findout where and when a man became a vicar or took holy orders in England?

This info would be in Crockfords Directory, but don't think it's available online.

Do you know which parish or church he worked in? If so you can google the names of the parish/churches and see if you can find anything. I found some information about the ministers at independent churches in Wales in the Genuki site and in the local library records. Good luck,
