To tell you how to do it in a message on here is not possible, it's far to complicated.

Dea.
An ethernet cable is the easiest way.

Hope you enjoy your new computer.

You don't have to worry about your e-mails, as they are held on the servers of your e-mail provider, not on your PC. All you need to know is how to access your e-mail provider, your username and your password.....you can do this on any PC.

Your programs can be reloaded from the original setup disks, or, if you dont have these, you might have to copy the programs onto writable CDs or DVDs, and then load these onto your new PC.

Good luck.

Wow! Easier to give him the new one!!!
and he can buy you another present...

If he gets a technichian to come and set up the new one maybe he would do the transfers for an extra fee.
Good luck

Hello all,

I turn on my computer and it does what I tell it (usually).

However - My husband can't make his work SO he is buying me a new one for christmas and he is going to set mine back to how it arrived!!

My question is - how do I get my new one to connect to the internet and how do I get all my e-mails and programmes over to the new machine??

"step by step instructions please"
