hi all,

i having some difficulty here, i don't yet have ancestry although am hoping to get it soon. i am trying to find my great grandmother and siblings on the census but as the only one i can get to is 81 and she wasn't born until 96 i am obviously struggling. i don't know her parents names and only a few of her sisters names with no d.o.b's.

i was hoping if i gave someone her sisters names they may be able to search the 1901 census to find older sisters or parent s and then i can work back from there. i foundher birth n battle in 1896 along with her younger sisters so i beleive the family may be living there in 1901.

any help would be much appreciated. thanks Leanne.x

could you possibly try and find the three children from 91 census that aren't on the 01 census. i'm hoping they didn't die, hopefully both are old enough to have possibly left home.

Robert G would be aged 19
Jane would be aged 17
Albert E Would be aged 15

Ok i've found death on freebmd that looks to be albert in 1892 aged 5. thanks to everyone wh helped me out.

Can't find them in 1901.
Free BMD has a death of Albert Edward, 1892 in Battle, age 5.

thanks, is ok sorted thank you margaret, i thought i'd try my luck with marriages and have found them marrying in battle in 1905 and 1909 respectively. thank you with all your help.x

There's a Robert Williams in Canada on the 1901 census. He was born 6 April 1882, England.
