I am adopted and for medical reasons am now looking for my birth father's birth records. He was born in India, Manpur in 1912. His name is Rex Murphy and he lived in the UK throughout his adult life I think. How can I access birth records from this period of time in India?

His birth registration should be in the overseas index on findmypast........it's a pay-to-view site.
