Is there an easy way to find a female marriage if you do not know exactley where or when they got married?
I would like to find my GGG Grandfathers daughter's (Ann Butler) marriage. I know she was born in 1855 Bramley leeds. She was at home in 1871 census but not on the 1881 census.
Between 1871 and 1881 I can find 3 on Yorkshire BMD for the Leeds area , 3 on free BMD for the Bradford area and alot for the rest of the country. Sh may also have died I suppose. It would be nice to find her so that I can fill in her history.
Thanks for any help that you can gve me

Afraid there isnt an easy way with a common name Karen - it would be a case of buying the certs - you could make a point asking gro to check the fathers name on one you arent sure of, but its going to be an expensive exercise.
