How can I save my GR tree onto CD to transfer it to a Family Tree program?

Thanks
Tony

Tony, you should not need to save it to cd, when the e-mail from GR comes, just save the Gedcom file on comp and then open in your FT programme.

If you wish to save on cd, you will still need to save to comp first, but not exactly sure how you would transfer to cd, you will need "burning" software of some sort, though I think windows provides some.

Tony, just a quick tip, back up all your info on the family tree program to internet storage and to a cd - puter crashes do happen and you dont want to lose anything.
