Just google it, Robyn. I often have to do it, being in Canada I don't know British place names. When you google Basford the first thing that comes up tells you it's in Nottinghamshire.

That probably is the one that you want if you are referring to the registration district. If not, there are quite a few places named Basford in the UK.

If you mean Basford Registration district, it covers parts of Notts and parts of Derbys.

My Dad lives in Basford, Staffs! I guess you're asking about the reg district though x
