I have an 1871 census for Ada Smith aged 5 born in Northamptonshire,Welton...but as relation to the head it says Daughter in Law (the same as Louisa Smith...I'm guessing her sister) How they possibly be daughter in laws aged only 5???? Confused Jon.

	They used the term"daughter-in-law" to denote stepdaughter back then. Margaret

	sometimes on census's Daughter/son in Law is used as relationship to head of house with what we would call step son/Duaghter Roy
