Can someone please tell me what is the set up with the census in Australia...?
The same as UK...

Hi

As far as I am aware, Australian censuses are destroyed once the statistics have been taken, therefore there are no historic ones available to search.

Please help....
I'm looking for Arthur Ernest Errington, and his wife, and Albert Thomas b 1914, his son, might be a daughter same age, twin called Kit.
Arthur died 1924, then mother and two children came back to UK.
The place Whyalla, nr Adelaide.

On Ancestry there are Australian Electoral Rolls from 1901 - 1936.
