I think they lived in Cowley Oxfordshire

This was a brickwall ancester who I had down as Francis Ayres.

no wonder i couldn't find him.

This came up on 1901.

Don't know if it's the right Frank....new wife and a child, but occupation on image is furniture dealer the same as the Frank in 1891.

I think you might be right!.
The Birth year and place of birth are correct for Frank I have just had a look and i think i have found a poss Death entry for
Emily Ayers .
So i am sending for this certificate to find out

The 1911 Canadian census has a Frank Ayers born July 1858, England with wife Harriet born Sep. 1866, England.

It says Harriet emigrated 1906, Frank & children 1907.
They're living in Welland, Ontario.
