Unless he was born at the begining of the year he would have been born in 1898 if he was 2 in 1901.

His information is:

Name: Jas A Foster
Sex: M
Where Born: Lincs Garthorpe

that info was taken from the 1901 census when he was 2 so he was born in either 1899 or 1891 depending on when his Birthday was.

Hi, I have information (name - well, part of the first name, Jas - last name, birth year and place of birth) but I can't find him anywhere - not even a close match - in the Births. I got his information from a 1901 census for the people in his household when I got information about his sister, whose birth I have managed to find. Why can't I find him, please?
