Hi Jan

If you put her into FTM or similar, it will tell you what relation she is, e.g. 19th cousin 47 times removed or whatever - but does it matter? If you want her in your tree, put her in. You can remove her later. You never know, you might get a contact with her 19th cousin only 46 times removed and find a new family link you never knew existed. Just do it.

hi and happy new year all, i have a problem in that i have a great, great aunt and attached to her is a 3rd cousin can someone iell me if this person is related to me?
i have looked on a site but it just says that i am related in steps??
