Just renewed my membership for a year and they quoted me £9.95 and they have charged me £13.00.
sent an email and now waiting to see if they refund the difference.

If your cousin has been an annual subscriber of GR then the cost should be £9.95 for the next 12 months ie continuous subscription price. If there has been a break in recent subscription then the cost goes to £9.95 per 6 months subscription.

I've just had an e-mail saying that i will be renewed - there is no mention of price! How can i find out how much i am going to pay?

I paid around the £9.95 mark for 2nd 6 months stint here just before xmas. I wouldn't have even known if it wasn't for the reminder and it going out of my paypal account.

I was quoted £13.00 for a year which is due in a few days, and i thought this was a little to high and emailed GR, they have now quoted me £9.95 for the same membership for a year, but im still waiting on a reply as to why they have more the one price for the same one year membership.

If you don't renew you will still be a member, your tree will remain on here & I think you will still get hotmatches.

You will be able to receive & reply to messages but you can't you will be unable to make initial contact.

You will also not be able to view other people's trees but I don't know if this affects trees which you already have access to.

You will not be able to post on any boards with the exception of the Success Board.

Does anyone know, if you don't renew your membership what happens to your tree on this site. Can I remove it or is it still there and will still get hot matches etc? Cheers sue

Joanne, did you also pay £13 last year?

I think I remember there being a lot of different prices quoted last year.

Maybe you should email them and query the price.

My subscription ran out yesterday and I renewed today. £9.95 for 1 year although I've just checked my records and I only paid £7.50p last year. It's better than £9.95p for 6 months though.

I do think it strange that GR have so many different prices for the same use of the site.

Wendy GR have a strange pricing structure. Some folk pay £7.50 pa others £9.95 pa but the members who joined within the last year pay £9.95 for SIX months.
If you don't pay your subs within the allotted time which I think is 28 days after it's due (this needs checking) then you will also be charged £9.95 for 6 months!

My subscritpion will have to be renewed before the end of the month (or not).
I am informed it will be 9.95 pounds. I am sure I paid 7 pounds last year. Is this the going price ?
