Member Since: March 2003 Posts: 7,819 Send Message	The Ancestry 1901 census index has a lot of transcription errors, which is the most likely reason. Try the 1901 Online search http://www.1901censusonline.com/census.asp or even the search on GR as these use completely different index trancriptions to Ancestry and are much more accurate.
