If he was born 1908 then he won;t have served in the first world war. For service records after 1920, you have to send off for them and they cost £30. See this website: |

My Grandfather Charles Philip Parker was born in 1908. On his Son's birth certificate it states he was a private in the Royal West Kents No. 6107018. I've looked at the national archives online and done so much googling at different sites, i've confussed myself. |
