Depends on the date of the death. It will either show age at death, and then you can calculate the approx year of birth or date of birth. If she married will give maiden name. Then you can search for the birth.

Post her name married and maiden and date of death and location of death - I'm sure someone here will search for you.

Does it show her age or DOB (only as given by informant, may not be correct)? Do you have her maiden name?
This is the info you need to find her birth.

The other alternative is if you have G Grandad's name & a rough idea of when they married, look for the marriage first.

It all depends on the date and how accurate the details are, sometimes the informant would have to guess the information so you should only ever use the information as a guide until you can prove it to be correct or not.

There are times the name of the informant can be useful, perhaps a child you didn't know about or the name of the spouse, (especially useful if your rellie has a reasonably common name or there are several possible marriges that might fit the names/dates you suspect).

The cause of death might be a clue as well, if an inquest was held you might find a newspaper article with some information relating to the family, (names, addresses etc can be handy to know if they are given).
