Hi All,

Trying to look my boyfriend's family history. Can anyone find me Thomas Brewerton in the 1901 census? He should be about 16 years old. We think he could have being living with his grandmother and brother William.

We know that Thomas went to live in Tadcaster around the time his mother got remarried to her second his husband. Thomas father (called Henry and his mother called Emma) died in 1892.

My boyfriend is trying to his birth records but we cannot find them anywhere. We have his marriage certificate and his death certificate.

He have tried to find his birth certificate under his mother's maiden name as well as Brewerton.

Do you have him on the 1891..also do you know where he was born

Also from his M/C what was Henry's occupation

We know when Henry died he was a printer on his death certificate, we need to find out Thomas Brewerton on the 1891. Henry died on 06 August 1892. we cannot see him on the 1891 census

Can i just ask how do you know his mum was called Emma...the reason i ask is i can't find him on the census

We have had to do this the wrong way round, my partners Great, Great Grandfather just turned up in Tadcaster He was Thomas Brewerton and on his Marriage Certificate he says that his fathers name was Henry, and the only thing that people knew about him was that he was from Bradford, he died young in an accident in the Brewerton at John Smiths Brewery he never reached an age where he had a chance to explain about his family.
