Hi Kathleen
That's great I couldn't find anything. I know that Reginald's first wife, Margaret died in 1948 but I have been given a remembrance card and it said his widow was Edith, which puzzled me greatly as he died in 1960!

There is this marriage in Birmingham:-

Reginald Grainger to Edith Halverson
Sept. qtr. 1950, Birmingham, 9c, 1387

Who says his widow was Edith? Did she register the death?

Reginald George Grainger was born in 1896 and married Margaret Shields 1919. Margaret died in 1948. When Reginald died in 1960 his widow was Edith. I have looked for a marriage but cannot find one. Can anyone help? They were Birmingham people.
