Hi Angela,
It is Witney, it borders Berkshire, Gloucerstershire & Oxfordshire, districts of Bampton, Burford & Eynsham. There were two other deaths on there they might belong to you-
Benjamin G Southall 84yrs.sept qu. 1915, 3a-1011
Alfred J Southall 40yrs June qu. 1919, 3a-1047

It is Witney which is in Oxfordshire.

please can someone advise me ? i think i may have found an ancestor in death index for 1926 , i can read the volume and page no but not the district . what should i do ? i've tried freebmd and igi and can't find her . name is maria southall age 86 jan- march quarter 1926. thankyou , angela
