I am looking for a 2nd marriage for a female rellie.
Maiden Name: Best
Married Name: Arnold
If she married a second time she would have to marry in the name of Arnold but when I search Ancestry under Arnold and her DOB it throws up first marriages of people named Arnold, born her birth year so does anyone know what name I should use to search please?

If she re-married at all ...what makes you think she might have married a second time ?

I'm not sure how you can search for a marriage on Ancestry using birth info.............can you clarify, please?

Mary Best DOB 1827 married John Arnold 1826.
They were on 1861 census with 3 children but then all vanished. Someone on here said perhaps she remarried and the children used the new husbands name and that is why I was looking for a 2nd marriage.

If they ALL vanished, perhaps they emigrated?

Don't think so Reg. three children Samuel George 1851, John James 1855 & Mary Ann 1857 I have found marriages for. They vanished from 1861 to 1871.
