Hi Colin,
Can you help??? When I went into it again today my screen came up blank, nothing I'd put on was there. I'd tried to save it but obviously not the right way - can you tell me how to save my tree?
Just when I thought I'd worked out how to use it too!!
Thanks.

ANOTHER UPDATE Sorry Colin have found my list - I'm just not used to having to look for it with all the other trees opening up with myself!!

Hi Jean, Hi Eleanor :)

Eleanor, It is certainly a handy program isnt it, it is nice for the editing side of trees :)

Jean, unfortunatley I never got to see the earlier version of this, it is a basic design though at the moment. I did take a look at the website that has this there are one or two minor differences although nothing I could see that would tell me any major changes have taken place as yet.

It is one to watch for the future though :)

thank you it is the simplest tree I have ever used, ideal for adding basic details on laptop when new details found. Superb. Marian

Colin sorry to be a bit dim but do I have to enter all my family tree on to it one at a time or can I do it another way.

Looking at the sample it seems easy to use but when I downloaded it I just got the following heading along the top - File, Undo, New Individual, Individual's Info, List of Individuals and READ

Thanks

UPDATE Sorry Colin realised what I'm supposed to do now!!

Hi Everyone :)

Just to let you know about a fairly new program that is available.
I have never seen anything that is so simple to use.
For anyone who has problems with doing their family tree ged coms etc this program may help you.

Anyone who has been on the site since it first started will remember how easy the first GC tree maker was, this is very similar.

Once you have created your ged com then you can upload it here also.

Simple Family Tree 1.30 enables you to create and/or view a family tree quickly and easily. It displays ancestors and descendants of any selected individual (it reads and writes files in Gedcom format). You can enter notes, events, a second name, and marriage details for each individual.

It is available to download for free at the moment and worth looking at.

It is available at this website below

Scroll down a little the download is there.
