1851 manchester census

Does anyone know if the 1851 census was destroyed as I have relos on the 41 and 61 but cant find them on the 51

from ancestry, 1851 census returns of the following localities have been damaged by water during storage. Most of the damaged pieces are in the area of Manchester.

Family History Online has the unfilmed census for a lot of areas, free to search but if you find them you have to pay to go further.

Found lots of my Manchester ancestors in there.

I gather that the Manchester and Lancs Fam His Soc has studied that census, using ultra violet lights etc and has managed to transcribe some of the damaged pages. Some of it is just guesswork, with a ? to indicate uncertainty, other times a first name might be left out, or ....
I have actually seen a copy of the transcribed page with my gt gt grandmother and her husband and their 3 daughters, the 3rd they have as Mart but it is actually Maria.
Perhaps you could contact the M&LFHS or whatever the correct name is.
