Could someone please tell me how I can find out where my great grandparents came from in Ireland.
Patrick Ratigan and his wife Ann (nee Riley/Reilly) came over to Harpurhey, Manchester with their 2 children, Mary Ann b. 1868 in Ireland and John b. 1869 also in Ireland. Their 3rd child was Honora b. 1873 in Manchester, later came Catherine 1874, James 1876 and Maggie E. 1879. Father Patrick was born abt. 1848 and Ann abt. 1850 both in Ireland.
I would love to know where they came from and if there is perhaps a passenger list with their names on it from Ireland to England.
Perhaps someone could help me find this information, this would be really appreciated. Thank you, Denise
