Hi

My cousin and I want to merge our trees. We have them both in Ancestry (on one account) and on GR (two accounts).

As many of our relatives overlap, we thought we would merge the two.

How do you do that?

In Ancestry or GR

You can't do it on GR, not sure about Ancestry.

Wht you need is some separate family tree software on your PC (such as family tree maker or similar). You can use this to merge the two trees and then you would need to upload the new, merged tree to the two websites.

Thanks Sam

So if Import the two tree's into LDS's PAF 5. Merge one inot the other. It will probably duplicate some names.

I would then delete them.

Cheers
