Although comparatively new, the freereg site now has over 3 and half million parish records transcribed. The coverage can be a bit patchy but if you have Norfolk ancestors like me, its wonderful. I use just a (rare) surname search for b m and d - brilliant. (But horrifying, just found one couple losing 8 children in infancy in 12 years)
