i have a Henry Plummer brn c.1824.

i have his wife and children in 1871 mistranscribed as plimmer. but i can't read his p.o.b.

i also had a theory with someone lending a hand that he was married before. as on 61 census his eldest childs age is 18(mary ann plummer). therefore 1843ish.however the next child down is louisa aged 7 so 1854. Mary Ann possible mother is mary ann wiley.

BUT on 1851 census there is a mary ann plummer with grandparents in wiltshire. the grandparents names matches the maiden name of the second wife and mary ann's age is three. surely she should be aged 8.

i have the marriage possibilities.
1.Marriages Sep 1843
PLUMMER Henry Islington 3 209
WILEY Mary Ann Islington 3 209

2. Marriages Sep 1847 (>99%)

HOPKINS Ann Stepney 2 482
Plummer Henry Stepney 2 482

my question is:is Mary Ann the daughter of Mary ann or Ann. was she born in wiltshire 1843 as 61 states or in c.1843 in pancras where the other children were born later.

any thoughts, suggestions appreciated.

ahh ok thanks.

well i beleive Ann Hopkins was born in Market Lavington. was just a little confused about the name change and so far i haven't seen ann hopkins as mary anne at all. and why the big gap between the children when the rest are so close together.

thanks Lynne. well hopefully that'll get me started atleast.
