RAF near Oxford

I know that my uncle (who died relatively young of natural causes) was in the RAF. I'm told he lived "near Oxford" in the sixties. Can anyone help me with which district or even county I might look in for records? I don't know if there was more than one RAF base in that area nor if he lived on a base or in "civilian" housing.

Hi Maureen,
I just googled RAF + Oxfordshire and lots of stuff came up.
Good luck
