Hi I have been trawling through Ancestry member trees for Jones in Wales (please don't laugh) and low and behold I found a match, but now need to find out how I can attach that info into my tree without having to copy it all, any assistance greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Are you talking about adding just one name or a whole tree? As it is such a common name, how can you be sure you have the right person? How can you be certain that the other peson's information is correct?

Anyway, to answer your question, I don't think you can do it unless the other person is prepared to send you a Gedcom file, you will have to copy it all.

You could try and contact the tree owner and ask for a gedcom?
