Hi - can anyone put me straight on proper terms for relations?

Am i right in thinking I have a second cousin when both our father's were cousins? Also is there any relationship between my father & my 2nd cousin?

Lastly, would my father's aunt be my gt aunt or 2nd aunt or could either term be used?

Thanks - 1 slightly confused member!

Best thing to do is google...there are a few charts on there which show you how to work out who`s who?....good luck..

If your fathers' are first cousins then you are second cousins.
Your father would be a first cousin once removed from your second cousin because he would be a first cousin of his father.
Father's aunt would be your great aunt.
