Would some kind soul who has Ancestry world membership mind doing a look up for me?

I'm looking for details of a birth of a Joseph Fiveash b1889 in Elgin. I cant see the actual record as I haven't got the membership yet.
I don't know what the Canadian records show but I'm after any details of his parents.

I've been contacted by his granddaughter and we're trying to find a connection with the Canadian Fiveashs to my London lot. We suspect that someone emigrated from England out there and think it may be Joseph's parents but we have no details on them.

Any help would be appreciated.

Frontenac county is a long way from Elgin county -- I'll check for mistranscriptions, which are endemic and appalling in the Cdn records at Ancestry. Most of the originals are about as bad.

You're welcome! The great thing is that all of the info is included in the registers in Ontario, and Ancestry has transcribed it all, e.g. parents' full names.

I couldn't see a Fiveash-Parks marriage at FreeBMD on a quick search. Fireash is always an option, I imagine. ;)

I've got an entry for a marriage for a Charles in 1887 in Ticehurst so I reckon that's him and Ancestry have either missed it or it's been transcribed wrong.

Unfortunately I can't find a birth for Charles as yet and can't find a connection to my tree as yet but I'm working on it lol
