I am waiting for the next free three day (try saying that quickly) trial which doesnt need a credit card. I want to have another go at getting my sister and our parents and grandparents and gt grandparents off about 60 genetically engineered trees.

Haven't heard anything about a free trial at the moment without entering credit card details and as Huia says they are only 3 day ones.

To get 14 days you have to enter credit card details but as long as you cancel before the date there isn't a problem.

Trouble is, I might forget to cancel, that is why I will go for the 3day one if it comes up again. In the meantime, a member of GOONS is contacting people with my gt grandfather (and my grandparents and parents plus my sister who they have m to a man b in 1723) asking them for their connection to my gt grandfather.

One said he is his seventh generation gt grandfather, therefore he is nine generations back. His son was (my grandfather) who m (my grandmother). They had a daughter (my mother) who m (my father). they had a daughter (my sister) who m John Downing. (Wrong). They had a daughter Mary Downing who m. M**** Y*****.
A scathing reply was sent to the tree owner.
A reply sent to another of these idiots says: You have no A**** genealogy so I suggest you IMMEDIATELY remove your A**** names or I shall personally report you to the FBI for identity theft.

I had been thinking along similar lines.

Nice one, A****. Much appreciated.

Huia.

I appreciate that, I was just saying that I hadn't heard of a 3 day one at the moment.

If I do I'll make it known on the boards.

Thanks from me too, Christine.
I am itching to have another go at getting all the idiots (about 60 of them) to remove my sister and our parents, etc from their trees.

I dont know if any of these still work:

http://66.102.9.104/search?q=cache:STHt9ENKeAIJ:www.rootsweb.com/~ote/usa_genealogy/iowa.htm+ancestry+trial+no+credit+card+required&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=8

But at the moment you can get a free 30 days sub with the WDYTYA family treemaker from play.com £5.99 including postage - thats got to be worth having - free ancestry for a month is worth more than that alone and you get a decent program aswell to use.

Hi Clare

I sent Ancestry a e-mail and told them how angry i was for not letting us know.

The are quick enough to mail us with update info.

They e-mailed back saying how sorry they were and because Maestro had changed there policies, Ancestry would not be useing Maestro.

I was offered 30 days free UK membership (which i accepted) so it should give me time to find another way to stay with Ancestry.

So Clare e-mail them see what they can do!
