PAF - Companion File

Hi there, Does anyone use the PAF to record their family history and if so do they use the Companion File which allows you to print out a greater variety of charts and reports? If so, I am having real problems with printing out the Ahnentafel Book. Even though I have ticked all the boxes to ask it to include every possible event, photo, notes etc that I have recorded on my PAF, it misses certain people out and many photos. I have checked in the Names File on the Companion and everyone is there, it just won't print out. Anyone have the same problem or can suggest what I might be doing wrong. Many thanks. Nicky

Is it leaving out living people perhaps or those which dont have a death date recorded?

No, it doesn't seem to be doing that. I re-read the help notes again on the PAF and it does say that in order for it to print every person it has to have a date of birth and place of birth recorded, so I have gone in and done that and it still won't work. It says it will do a maximum of 160 generations and I no way have that amount yet (if ever) - or maybe it means number of people? Or maybe it doesn't print out direct line ancestors? I didn't really want to print out several different reports, I just wanted one. Nicky

Sorry Nicky, cant help - have you tried emailing familysearch? It may be worth buying the FTM WDYTYA edition which is available with 30 days ancestry sub for just £5.99 from Play.com at the moment.
