Have you any idea when he died? Can you narrow it down at all?

He could have lived into his 90's and that could
potentially mean searching from 1909 up until the 1940's which would take ages!

Thankyou Sam.

I think in the 1930, that would make him 81 years.

Hi,

Nothing logical for him before 1920 but there is a Priscilla M Maguire who died in Neath Dec. Q 1915 so I have followed her a little way back and there could be a Welsh connection.

Was your Priscilla b c 1859 and previously married to a Morgan Vaughan?

What details do you have on her?

I believe I have checked a BMD's from 1909 up to and including 1940.

I can't find another Priscilla who fits (perhaps they were on holiday there?

BUT, I think I have found your Richard - the only one I feel is possible was reg Easington 10a 493 - March Q 1930. - aged 81.

This is County Durham so would seem to be in the correct area - I don't believe there are any other possible.

Via the link http://www.northeastbmd.org.uk/ I searched the Sunderland death records 1901-1970 with no hits. However, when I checked on the marriages, there's another Richard Maguire marr 1904 to May A Spencer. If this isn't your guy, you'd better be aware there's another Richard Maguire knocking around there.
