Lists every record office in England Scotland and Wales, and has direct links to email them and phone numbers . I expect lots of you have this already ,but for those that havn`t, its a good one to bookmark.

In veiw of the thread about the poor service from the GRO I thought I`d bump this thread up, just had a birthday, and received some money, so am looking to order quite a few certs. myself , maybe will try some of the county register offices instead of the GRO.

A records office is no use if you want to order certificates, for certs you need a register office.

A full list of records offices, register offices and local libraries with postal, telephone, e-mail and url links listed on a county basis for England, Wales and Scotland can be found on the FTF website, plus there are also links to each local Family History Society and a large collection of both local town and countywide websites.

Follow the link then pick your country and then county/counties of interest.
