Hi,

On FreeBMD and ancestry I cannot find the spouse who Ivy R Hill married just says his surname Steventon. Is there another way of finding out? Married 1925 Birmingham N.

Search for a Steventon in the same quarter. You should come up with a matching one whose spouse is named Hill. I will just see if I can find him to demonstrate.

December, I have looked on ancestry and no marriage for a Steventon in that quarter.

I think that's the missing quarter - for some reason there is nothing coming up at all for December.

I'm trying to get to it on FreeBMD but it's taking ages.

I've got a sub for Findmypast and the relevant quarter is on there:

December quarter 1925
Steventon - Vincent J. - Hill - Birmingham N - vol 6d, p1089
